Milkshake Lug-ons
Project Center
Lug-ons
are the small pictoral advertisements that are often mounted
on sticks or blocks of foam to give them that "pop"
or "raised" appearance, often placed at cash registers,
or near drive-thru windows. The objective of them is to
be eye-catching and promote impulse purchasing of what they
are advertising.
Chick-Fil-A
without question has some delicious milkshakes, but the
company felt that it would better their image if the notion
that they were hand-spun were driven home.
I updated
existing artwork to reflect these desired changes, as well
as ensuring that they maintained consistent to the remainder
of the numerous Chick-Fil-A materials.
The
following two Lug-ons were in circulation all throughout
the winter of 2009, and into the first quarter of 2010,
at all 1,600-plus restaurant locations.
