Virginia Trumpets Logo

The UVA marching band takes great pride in their skill and ability. When the percussion section hired a designer to create a logo in the same light of Virginia's trademark crossed swords emblem, I was also hired to create something similar for the proud Virginia trumpets.

The trumpet is a piece of clipart that was bitmapped and strategically trimmed to retain the white background, while taking on the orange outlines.

The University of Virginia's trumpet section now features this emblem on t-shirts and windbreakers.
