Seventeen Dollar Cash Holder Holiday Card
Personal Project

The basis of this personal project is the simple notion that I'm trying to dispel the mindset that cash makes a lousy gift. It is, and always has been all about presentation.

I created this holiday card to be a cash holder, that also explains the benefits to cash as a gift as opposed to a gift card that has significantly more restrictions than cash does.

The card as a whole served several purposes; not only would it hold cash of whatever denomination I decided to sent to the recipient, but it also was meant to be a small memento of sort which contained my likeness in the "seventeen dollar" bill once the gift cash was removed.

Photo editing and color modification was done in Adobe Photoshop. I created my own die-line in Adobe Illustrator, and pieced it all together using double-stick tape to adhere the seams for me. The overall layout and text placement of all art and text was done in Adobe InDesign.
