I've been doing graphic design since high school, and have worked in a variety of businesses and industries, on various sides of the process. If there's one thing that I've learned in my career is that design matters everywhere. It doesn't matter if you have the greatest idea or product in the world, if the presentation can't get anyone's attention, it may as well not exist.
